Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working, trustworthy and innovative candidate to join our Finance Department as a Senior Financial Analyst. Reporting directly to the Finance Controller, Americas, this position is in our Tempe office and will play an integral part in the Americas Finance Team. We are looking for someone who is sharp, disciplined and is determined to deliver high quality results in a timely manner. The right person will build collaborative relationships within the organization and exhibit a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Maintain full set of books for Americas entities.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with international finance teams and Americas business partners.
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues and business partners to ensure timely monthly financial close.
  • Prepare various financial analysis and reports timely with reliable conclusions
  • Analyse income statements identifying, researching and resolving anomalies timely.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, researching, resolving and clearing reconciling items.
  • Assist with annual operating plan process and reporting monthly results.
  • Draft policies, procedures, work instructions and desk instructions.
  • Supports annual audits
  • Drives process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to all finance processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Global and IFRS experience a plus.
  • Experience with GL accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics Navision experience a plus.
  • Interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer focus and stakeholder management.
