Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide Installation and maintenance of end user IT equipment and tools (i.e. Hardware, Software and Peripherals) with strict compliance to standards at all times
  • Create and maintain accounts in Active Directory, Email Exchange, and Internal Business Applications.
  • Provide first level technical assistance and support to address user concerns locally and remote users.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments of IT equipment and tools. 
  • Refer IT problems which requires major repairs to respective vendor or supplier.
  • Inspect and prepare equipment specification, components and software prior to transfer of user accountability and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate log of status, findings/resolution details, and follow-up information.
  • Ensure adherence to IT process and procedure.
  • Maintain confidentiality of IT information (Infrastructure, System, Application and Data).
  • Perform preventative maintenance of various computer equipment, printers and peripherals
  • Maintain and keep accountability for onsite equipment.
  • Participate and support new Corporate IT initiatives.
  • May occasionally be required to provide after office hours support
  • Any other duties as assigned by management

 
Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferably a graduate of any IT related 4-year course such as BS Information Technology or its equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/ or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years in a corporate technology support position
  • Good understanding of operating system concepts, services, and security requirements for corporate users.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Operating Environment.
  • Experience in Microsoft Front Office products; Outlook, Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
  • Proven technical skills in pc hardware, software, and office network support.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and troubleshooting.
  • Willingness and ability to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, HTTP/S, SSH, and DHCP.
  • Experience working in a culturally and geographically diverse organization is desired. 
  • Ability to work in multi-tasked environment.
  • Confidentiality and high standard of ethics
  • Skilled in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Keen attention to detail
