Job Summary

The Shared Service Centre Accounting Manager will oversee functions such as general ledger accounting, accounts payable, Customer billing and collections, fixed assets, account reconciliation and manage a small team in our BGC Taguig, Manila Office for a complex, multiple entity company.


Daily activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervision of a team of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable specialists in a Shared Services Centre, serving a world-wide Professional Services and Technology Firm
  • Booking of General Ledger entries, especially Intercompany and Transfer Pricing transactions.
  • Reconciliation of multiple Asset and Liability accounts including Accounts Receivable and Payable
  • Understanding of the fixed asset and reporting, and managing upgrades
  • Record and reconcile fixed assets, including acquisition and disposal
  • Management of collection of past due invoices
  • Create and update weekly flash reports for management
  • Manage staff of 6, Directing work assignments, measuring results and initiating personnel actions as required
  • Conducting employee evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions that may be necessary
  • Maintaining/reviewing or implementing SOP’s and Policies for Finance
  • Managing process improvement initiatives including identifying opportunities for improvements in processes and systems
  • Managing and developing staff performance
  • Working closely with other department leaders to support inquiries, identifying gaps and improvements in processes and providing guidance to other departments as necessary


Qualifications include:

  • University Degree in Accounting
  • In depth knowledge of IFRS Accounting rules and regulations
  • 5 years of accounting experience in Software or Professional Services Industries
  • Experience in a Multi-currency organization is required
  • Required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Office
  • Knowledge of Dynamics NAV G/L System is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
