Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to provide full service Human Resources and Office Administration support to our Penang based staff. This is an exciting position for a well-rounded HR and operational professional who is adaptable to change and is looking for a fast-paced environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consultation to business partners on the full spectrum of human resources management including performance management, talent development, succession planning, employee engagement initiatives, training & development and recognition and reward programs
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure the optimum quality of human resources is recruited and retained to meet the business needs
  • Handling HR compliance matters, including visa and work permit processing
  • Keep abreast of staff movements and issues, this will be achieved through close interaction with management and employees to understand potential turnover issues and trends
  • Provide advice and support to management regarding employee retention and engagement
  • Deliver HR related projects and change initiatives, coordinating with international offices
  • Handle general office management and administration matters

Qualifications and Experience

  • University graduate with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in human resources and office administration management
  • Experience in professional services preferred
  • High level integrity, extremely well organized, details oriented and meticulous
  • Well-versed and all-rounded human resources professional with hands-on experiences in staffing, employee relations, compensation, as well as strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law, Employment Act, Industrial Relation and Immigration
  • Experience of supporting change management programmes
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
